Sabine Niemeier
Sabine Niemeier is Editorial Director Non-Fiction for Luebbe
Verlag, Germany's largest independent publisher. She leads an
editorial team publishing a broad list of general interest
nonfiction at Bastei Luebbe AG (Hardcover and Paperback, 60 titles
per year). Sabine holds a degree in Cultural Studies and has been
in publishing for almost 20 years now. She always looks for
accessible, appealing stories both entertaining and informative.
Internationally most famous authors on her list are the likes of
Meik Wiking, Kari Hotakainen/ Kimi Räikkönen, James Bowen and Betty
and Mahtob Mahmoody. She is an alumni to the Frankfurt Fellowship
Programme (2007) as well as the Fellowship for the Jerusalem
International Bookfair (2009, 2015). She's regular host to the
Frankfurt Fellows visiting Germany. She lives in Cologne enjoying
the outdoors and cycling.
