Christine Scholz

After studies in compared literature in Berlin and Paris, Christine Scholz joined the oldest French literary agency, Agence Hoffman, in 2001 as literary agent where she was in charge of the representation of numerous German, English and American clients for the French book market.

Over the years she's been working across all genres and exclusively with prestigious Publishers and agents such as New Directions, Curtis Brown and various Estates such as Henry Miller, Ivan Bunin or the Maurice Druon Estate before she joined Fleuve Editions in 2014 as commissioning editor for Foreign Fiction.

Since her arrival she has worked on both the commercial fiction and crime list and continues to develop both lists persistently. Authors such as Ruth Ware, Fiona Barton, Cynthia d'Aprix Sweeny, Jill Santopolo or Gail Honeyman figure among her acquisitions.
