Cranachan Publishing

Established at the beginning of 2016, Cranachan is a small independent publisher based on the Isle of Lewis. They are committed to finding new voices and writing talent for their children's fiction list under their Pokey Hat imprint focusing on children's Scottish historical fiction through their Yesteryear series. Their young adult fiction list, Gob Stopper, includes fantasy, contemporary, and historical fiction with a Scottish flavour.

Their Cranachan Education imprint focuses on professional development titles for teachers, as well as classroom resources to support the Yesteryear series.

Cranachan pride themselves on only publishing books which excite and inspire them, and firmly believe that 'the proof of the pudding is in the reading'.
